Empowered in Entrepreneurship

Lemonade Day

Each girl who registers will receive access to the Lemonade Day curriculum that teaches them lessons like creating budgets, setting profit-making goals, serving customers, repaying investors, and giving back to the community. Along the way, they acquire skills in goal setting, problem solving, and gain self-esteem critical for future success. They keep all the money they make and are encouraged to spend some, save some, and share some.

Pop-Up Shop

Pop-Up teaches teens and young adults the practical skills required to plan, launch, and operate their own business venture within a structured, experiential process. All profits generated benefit the participant. Throughout the start-up process, participants collaborate with a mentor, make crucial business decisions, practice communication skills, and develop entrepreneurial knowledge and skills within a streamlined, teacher-led experience. With the guidance of an instructor and financial oversight of the school or community organization, the participants company sells a predetermined product or supports an existing school or community event. Participants focus primarily on marketing and sales roles, while learning the basics of launching and operating a pop-up business.
