Engaging in self-care activities that they enjoy and find fulfilling helps boost their self-esteem, as it reinforces the idea that they deserve to prioritize their own well-being and happiness. Taking care of themselves sends a message that they value themselves and their needs. Overall, self-care promotes well-being, mental health, and self-esteem. It equips them with valuable skills to navigate the challenges of adolescence, develop resilience, and cultivate healthy habits that will benefit them throughout their lives.
